THERMAL OIL SYSTEM FOR A LI-ION BATTERY FACTORY

From 2020 to 2022, enolcon served as the specialist planner for the entire thermal oil system package at a new Li-ion battery factory. The thermal oil system supplies the new Li-ion battery factory with heat for dryers, cleanrooms, coating machines, and the chemicals area. The thermal oil system comprises several large thermal oil boilers, hydraulic distributors, an expansion vessel system, main pipelines spanning several kilometers, as well as the "hook-up"—or connection—to the heat consumers. The majority of the facility has been successfully in operation since the end of 2022. In 2023, the section surrounding the coating machines was installed and commissioned.
